The 19-year-old made 44 appearances on loan at Notts County last season, winning the EFL Goal of the Season and earning a place on the shortlist for the League Two Young Player of the Season.

Capped twice by England at under-19 level, he captained Spurs’ under-21s to the Premier League 2 title in 2023/24 and also has one senior appearance for Spurs.

Head Coach Mike Dodds told the club website: “George is a really exciting player in the middle of the park and we’re delighted that he’s made the decision to come here over other clubs to continue his progress in his career.

“He had an excellent loan spell last season and is a player we’ve known about for a long time in youth football, so to bring him here is another really positive step forward in our recruitment this summer.”

Tom Stockwell, Director of Football Strategy and Data Intelligence, added: “George is an excellent player and we are delighted he has chosen to take his next step in development with Wycombe. On his first loan last season in League Two, George was a real standout performer making 42 league appearances and scoring some spectacular goals from midfield.

“Comfortable as a six receiving from the defence or higher up the pitch as a running number eight, George gives us another option in the strong midfield group we already have here at the club. His high level of technical quality will aligns with the brand of football we are looking to play with this season.

“When taking a player on loan we want to add big value to the squad, which is what George brings and we are excited to see him in a Wycombe shirt.”

He is eligible to make his debut in Saturday’s clash with Stockport County.
