In a what felt like a dominant performance against the Eagles on All Hallows' Eve, the statistics backed it up with us enjoying almost 80 per cent of the ball while we played 759 accurate passes - the most we have ever managed in a Premier League game.

That beat our previous best of 747 which we managed in our 3-0 win at Cardiff City back in January, 2019.

Jan Paul van Hecke also broke the record for most passes by a Spurs player in a Premier League game with 143 completed in the game. To put that into context, the 10 men of Crystal Palace completed 151 in total across the 90 minutes.

Incredibly, we recorded a passing accuracy of 93.12 per cent. Again, a new record high for us in the top flight. And it is another sign of our boys gelling on the pitch with it breaking a record we had only set a matter of weeks ago, recording 93.01 per cent completion in the home 0-0 draw with Everton in September.

However, we have certainly upped our dominance in games since that Everton match with us completing an extra 160 passes against Palace on Saturday.
