Tottenham Hotspur are looking to add to Thomas Frank’s attack with Eberechi Eze one of the players with whom they have started talks to sign.
TBR Football understands that Tottenham have held talks to sign Eze in a deal which could be worth in excess of £60 million.
Spurs have ramped up their interest in the England international after James Maddison’s knee injury looks set to rule him out for the majority of the new campaign.
But Eze is not the only Premier League attacker Tottenham are targeting, and they have now added another forward to their list of targets.
Facundo Buonanotte added to Tottenham’s list of targets
Tottenham Hotspur have added Brighton and Hove Albion attacker Facundo Buonanotte to their list of targets, according to Mail Sport.
Buonanotte, who’s been described as ‘very high level’, has joined a list of Eze, Savinho and Nico Paz as targets for the North London club.
TBR Football revealed back in November that Buonanotte was a target for the Lilywhites, and now he is back on their radar.
The 20-year-old had a mixed campaign on loan at Leicester City last term as he managed five goals and two assists in 31 Premier League matches.
West Ham United, Leeds United and Nottingham Forest are also chasing the Argentine; meanwhile, Borussia Dortmund are also believed to be keen.
TBR Football can reveal that Man City are keen to keep Savinho and will not make negotiations for the 21-year-old easy.
Paz is unlikely to join Tottenham, with Real Madrid keen to bring him back to the Spanish capital at some point in the near future.
Tottenham could face competition from Arsenal for Eze, meaning that lining up other targets will be key to avoid being left short.
Tottenham are willing to pay £60m to sign Eberechi Eze
Tottenham are willing to pay around £60m to sign Eze and are hoping to get a deal wrapped up quickly for the forward, according to Ben Jacobs.
Spurs have made contact with Palace to learn the terms of his release clause and look prepared to get the deal over the line.
Jacobs told GiveMeSport: “I’m told Spurs are prepared to do a deal right now at £60 million and they want to move fast.
“They’ve also approached Crystal Palace to understand the terms, either behind triggering the release clause or matching it, even after it goes away, that may inform Crystal Palace’s valuation.”
