There’s a claim in the Turkish media that Tottenham Hotspur are again showing interest in Galatasaray forward Barış Alper Yılmaz.
The Turkey international was linked with as move to the Premier League side last summer following his impressive performances in Euro 2024.
Takvim report Tottenham are looking to make another attempt to sign the impressive Galatasaray winger and are ready to table an official offer. There’s no indication of how much that offer will be worth.
It’s claimed Yılmaz’s agent has held a meeting with the Galatasaray hierarchy and informed them of Spurs’ plans to make an offer. According to the Turkish media outlet it would take a bid of at least €35m to sign the 25-year-old after he recently extended his Gala contract until June 2028.
Tottenham will face competition to sign Yılmaz, with a number of Premier League sides reportedly in the race. Last month, Nottingham Forest were said to be lining up an offer, whilst more recently West Ham United have again shown interest.
There have also been reports Inter Milan are monitoring his situation.
Yilmaz made 29 league appearances for Gala last season, scoring 11 goals.
