Tottenham Hotspur recorded back-to-back wins in the Premier League and back-to-back clean sheets with a 1-0 victory over Manchester United on Sunday.
An upturn in form has come just when it was needed. And for the first time in a number of weeks, manager Ange Postecoglou has options to choose from in his team.
Guglielmo Vicario came back into the starting line-up for the first time since gameweek 12, while James Maddison also returned to the XI. Destiny Udogie, Brennan Johnson and Wilson Odobert were also in Spurs' matchday squad, with the latter two making an appearance in the second half.
It made a massive difference, with Vicario and Maddison playing a huge part in the win over the Red Devils - the goalkeeper making a number of fine saves and Maddison scoring the only goal of the game.
But as well as having players returning to action from long-term injuries, there was something else Postecoglou had that the Spurs boss has not for a while - time on the training ground.
For the first time since mid-November, Spurs had a full week off, with no midweek action in their calendar. And it made all the difference.
The last time Tottenham had a full week between matches was in November, and after having a week off to work on the training pitch, Spurs thrashed Manchester City 4-0. Now, three months on, a week of work at Hotspur Way has ended with Spurs picking up a victory - 1-0 over City's rivals United.
Spurs now have another full week off before they take on Ipswich Town in the Premier League next weekend. And if they continue their run of picking up wins after a week's rest, they will find themselves in a much better position in the table.
However, that extra rest will not be maintained. After the Tractor Boys, Spurs play Man City in midweek and then there comes the return of European football - with the Europa League last-16 games to be played in the following midweeks.
With success comes more midweek matches - by virtue of playing in European competitions. Postecoglou clearly needs to rest his players in order to get success this season, if the last two results after a week off are anything to go by.
But success breeds success and the Australian will need Daniel Levy to be more active in the summer transfer market to give him better strength-in-depth in order to help deal with the workload moving forward.
There is no chance of recovery time currently, nor will there be if Postecoglou makes Spurs successful in the near future. But after huge fan protests against Levy prior to the win over United, the chairman needs to listen and get his chequebook out.
