The Parkhead idol will continue his coaching career in the Middle East after penning a money-spinning deal
Ange Postecoglou has made a sensational return to football after being appointed the new head coach of Al-Nassr.
The ex-Celtic and Tottenham boss will team up with Cristiano Ronaldo after penning a money-spinning deal with the Saudi Arabian giants.
Postecoglou will also come up against ex-Parkhead gaffer Brendan Rodgers at Al-Qadsiah.
The Aussie replaces Jorge Jesus after the Portuguese ended Al-Nassr's seven-year wait for a Saudi Pro League title last season.
Postecoglou won five trophies - including a Treble - across two seasons at Parkhead before joining Spurs in summer 2023.
He guided the Premier League club to a fifth place finish in his debut season but was sacked the following year after finishing 17th - despite winning the Europa League.
Postecoglou then endured a miserable stint at Nottingham Forest and was axed after just 39 days for failing to win any of his eight games in charge.
The 60-year-old - who was touted as a possible successor to Steve Clarke at Scotland - has spent the summer working as an ITV pundit for the World Cup.
But now he'll take the next step of his career in the Middle East after securing a blockbuster return to management.
An Al-Nassr statement confirmed: " Mr. Ange Postecoglou as coach of the first football team at Al Nasr club. And that with a contract extending for two seasons
"Our best wishes for success to him and his staff in their journey with the Global Club, God willing."
