Anna Csiki stepped off the bench to open her account in the Barclays Women’s Super League – her first in England’s top flight – to help West Ham United to a 2-2 draw with Liverpool on Sunday.
The midfielder, who joined West Ham United on a season-long loan in the summer, was on hand to reinstate her side’s lead in the second half at Chigwell Construction Stadium after Mia Enderby cancelled out Riko Ueki’s opener within two minutes.
Introduced just before the hour mark, it only took Anna eight minutes to find the target with her in the right place right place at the right time to flick home Ffion Morgan’s effort from the edge of the box to net her very first goal in the WSL on 67 minutes.
The home side were unable to hold on to the lead as Beata Olsson grabbed an equaliser with three minutes left to play in the contest as both sides settled for a point in east London.
It was her eighth appearances of the season, with four of those coming in the WSL.
