Left-back Andy once again led his nation out as captain in Miami, but his side were 2-0 down – courtesy of a brace from Vinicius Jr – by the time he was substituted at the break.

Matheus Cunha added a third goal for Brazil on the hour mark to leave Scotland with three points from their three initial games at the tournament.

They now face a nervous wait to see if that’ll be enough for them to progress to the last 32 as one of the best-performing third-placed sides.
