Tottenham Hotspur fans must be having nightmares about Arsenal star Eberechi Eze.

The England international has had a mixed season for the Gunners since his big-money move from Crystal Palace last summer.

There have been games in which Eze has looked like a passenger, but in North London Derbies, the attacker has been a different player.

After his brace in the last game against Tottenham, Martin Odegaard has delivered his verdict on Eze.

Based on this footage, what was your favourite goal Arsenal scored against Spurs?

Martin Odegaard says Eberechi Eze’s stats vs Tottenham are ‘crazy’

Eberechi Eze must love humiliating Tottenham so much that he has done it three times.

In the summer of 2025, Spurs were really keen to sign the Englishman and even had a deal agreed with Crystal Palace for his transfer.

However, Eze made a last-minute phone call to Mikel Arteta to see if Arsenal would sign him instead, and the Gunners boss obliged.

That was embarrassing for Spurs. But to make things worse, Eze scored a hat-trick for Arsenal in his first game against Tottenham, and he followed that with a brace in his second appearance against them.

Odegaard, who watched Eze start in his position, is delighted for his teammate and hailed his stats against Spurs as ‘crazy’ this season.

He wrote in Arsenal’s matchday programme: “What a day it was for Ebs! His stats against them are just crazy now.

“To get a hat-trick in his first North London derby and then two more last weekend is just unbelievable, and I know he scored a couple against them last season too.

“But even not including the goals, I thought his overall performance was great. He played really well and really deserved those goals. We were all so happy for him.”

TRUE or FALSE: Eberechi Eze has just taken Martin Odegaard’s spot at Arsenal… 👀

Arsenal need Eberechi Eze’s London Derby magic against Chelsea

Arsenal are involved in another London derby after the game against Tottenham. They host Chelsea on Sunday.

After his heroics in the win over Spurs, Eze is expected to keep his place in the side, and his London derby record could come in handy for the Gunners.

The former Eagles star has scored six goals for Arsenal in the Premier League this season, and all six have come in games against London-based sides.
