Arsenal star Gabriel Magalhaes and Tottenham Hotspur striker Richarlison have a personal rivalry.

The North London Derby between the two sides is heated on its own, but what takes it to a new level is individual battles between players – on and off the pitch.

Gabriel often mocks Richarlison on social media after games, and the defender has finally revealed why.

😂 Who is the biggest wind-up merchant in the Arsenal squad? Surely it has to be Gabriel Magalhaes?

Gabriel Magalhaes shares why he keeps trolling Richarlison after Arsenal vs Tottenham games

Gabriel Magalhaes is not someone who shies away from having a go at the opposition.

The Brazilian is one of the best defenders in the world on the pitch, but off it, he has a funny side that delights Arsenal supporters.

Tottenham fans, however, won’t like it, especially as their side and Richarlison, in particular, are at the end of those jokes.

From tagging the attacker on social when he wins Player of the Match awards to mocking him after Arsenal’s wins, this has been a common theme for quite some time.

The reason behind that? Gabriel says Richarlison was the one who started it.

He told The Athletic: “I remember things – that’s why. Football is beautiful because what they do, we can do as well.

“Like Richarlison, he’s my friend. When we lost against them in pre-season, they posted a picture. And now we see it in the Premier League.

“It’s in my mind – I don’t forget. But it’s nothing personal.”

Arsenal could hand Tottenham the biggest embarrassment of all time

Arsenal and Tottenham are on two completely different levels right now.

The Gunners are the best team in the country and are on track to become the first English side ever to win the quadruple.

Spurs, on the other hand, are at risk of getting relegated this season.

Arsenal have already beaten Tottenham two times this season with an aggregate score of 8-2. Now, they could go on to win the lot at the same time as their North London rivals go down.

That would be the most embarrassing thing in the history of the rivalry between the two sides.
