Tottenham Hotspur continue their preseason schedule when they take on A-League Men champions Auckland FC at Eden Park on Sunday.

The match kicks off at 4:00 a.m. in the UK, which is 3:00 p.m. local time in Auckland and 11:00 p.m ET in the USA.

The match comes at a difficult time for Spurs, with Roberto De Zerbi working with a squad missing several regular starters because of World Cup breaks and injuries.

That means there should be plenty of opportunities for Tottenham's new signings and young players.

Auckland are also coming off a successful season after winning the A-League Men title. This will be a big test for the champions against Premier League opposition.

Tottenham Team News

Tottenham have a long list of players who will miss the trip.

Rodrigo Bentancur, Pape Matar Sarr, Pedro Porro, Cristian Romero, Djed Spence and new signing Marcos Senesi have all been given extra time off after the World Cup.

There are also several injury absences. Mohamed Kudus, Xavi Simons, Dejan Kulusevski and Wilson Odobert stayed in London to continue their recovery.

Goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario is also absent after picking up a minor knock.

With so many senior players unavailable, De Zerbi will have to rely on a younger group. Mikey Moore is one player who could benefit from the situation.

Auckland FC Team News

Auckland have fewer concerns heading into the match and have not lost any players to the World Cup.

The A-League champions have, however, seen several changes to their squad since last season.

Midfielder Louis Verstraete left the club for personal reasons, while Dan Hall, Guillermo May and Jesse Randall have also moved on.

New signing Aaron Calver is available after completing his transfer and could make an appearance.

Auckland FC vs. Tottenham Prediction

Tottenham are the favorites, even with their long list of absences.

Auckland will have the home crowd behind them, with a big turnout expected at Eden Park. Still, Tottenham should have enough quality to come through.

Prediction: Auckland FC 1-3 Tottenham Hotspur.
