Striker Alejo joined us from Rosario Central in his home country of Argentina during the summer of 2023 and made eight first team appearances in our colours, scoring a Premier League goal against Brighton & Hove Albion in December of that year.
He subsequently enjoyed loan spells in Spain with Sevilla and Espanyol before returning to Rosario on loan last July for the 2025/26 season.
Alejo is now set to move to the Brazilian top flight on a permanent basis – we wish him well for the future.
