Bournemouth, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur all ‘highly value’ Paris Saint-Germain youngster Axel Tape as he gets set to leave Paris this summer.
That’s according to Sports Zone, who report that the Premier League trio are in the mix for the 17-year-old.
They report that despite attempts from PSG to convince the central defender; Tape will not reverse his decision to leave PSG this summer. The youngster’s deal ends this summer.
Bayer Leverkusen are currently in pole position for the centre-back but Bournemouth, Chelsea and Tottenham highly value his profile. As such, there is a decision to be made about his future in the coming months.
Chelsea, of course, have spent the last two years scooping up talent from across the world while Tottenham have turned towards signing younger profiles under Ange Postecoglou. They were also credited with an interest last month.
Bournemouth, meanwhile, can offer an interesting development path under Andoni Iraola. Indeed, they would perhaps point to Dean Huijsen’s rise this season and subsequent transfer to Real Madrid as proof of their credentials.
For now, it seems that Tape has only decided to leave PSG, but Bournemouth, Chelsea and Tottenham are all in the mix for the 17-year-old as he eyes up his next step.
