Brennan Johnson has taken the crown for the fastest ever competitive goal scored at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

The forward headed home our opener in Thursday night's 3-1 Europa league semi-final first-leg win over Bodø-Glimt with just 39 seconds on the clock - the fastest a Spurs player has scored a competitive goal at the Stadium.

The strike took the record that Heung-Min Son had held for his 45 second effort in our 3-3 draw with West Ham United in October, 2020.

There has been a quicker goal scored at our world-class home in a friendly game as Dejan Kulusevski found the back of the net with just 23 seconds on the clock last summer.

Johnson's goal also made history as the quickest ever goal in a Europa League semi-final.
