Post

Liverpool 2-0 Qarabag

Liverpool are well in control here and a third goal seems to be coming. Florian Wirtz shows off his sharp footwork before his effort is charged down and Dominik Szoboszlai's follow up shot is turned behind.

Post

Atletico Madrid 1-1 Bodo/Glimt

Bodo/Glimt, who beat Manchester City 3-1 last time out, have equalised through Fredrik Sjovold.

That means Atletico Madrid drop to ninth in the league table and Tottenham are back in the top eight.

Maradona-esque from Vergara

Napoli 1-1 Chelsea

Nizaar Kinsella

BBC Sport Chelsea reporter

Not many people will have heard of Antonio Vergara before kick-off, but they will now.

Not least Wesley Fofana, who was turned—reminiscent of Diego Maradona’s swivel against England in 1986—before Vergara guided his shot into the far corner beyond goalkeeper Robert Sanchez.

What a way for the locally born No.10 to score his first goal for his boyhood club.

Post

PSG 1-0 Newcastle

Just under 10 minutes to go until the break and if Newcastle can get in just 1-0 down would be something of a positive outcome for them given just how dominant PSG have been.

'Wonderful piece of individual skill from Vergara'

Napoli 1-1 Chelsea

Leon Osman

Former Everton midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live at Stadio Diego Armando Maradona

Chelsea have left themselves stretched and they never really recover, and this is a wonderful piece of individual skill from Vergara. He picks up the ball and running at the Chelsea defence, Fofana tries to get back but can't quite get there and gets done.

Post

Man City 2-0 Galatasaray

Pep Guardiola has just had a go at Rayan Cherki for taking too many touches.

One minute you're the goal hero, the next you're getting a rollocking off the boss.

'Game has settled for Newcastle'

PSG 1-0 Newcastle

Chris Sutton

Former Premier League striker on BBC Radio 5 Live at Parc des Princes

Things seem to have settled down for Newcastle now. I shouldn't say that because PSG will then just carve them open.

As it stands...

Napoli's goal has now knocked Chelsea out of the top eight.

So far this evening, the west London club is in-and-out of the top eight.

Will they still be in the automatic positions by the end of play?

Post

Benfica 0-1 Real Madrid

Real Madrid take the lead and in doing so secure up their spot in the top eight.

Raul Asencio delivers a fine curling cross to the back post where Kylian Mbappe nods the ball into the net.

Record winners Real Madrid are third as things stand. Benfica are heading out.

GOAL - Napoli 1-1 Chelsea

Antonio Vergara (33 mins)

WOW!

Great scenes in Naples as Antonio Vergara drags his side back into this one and a play-off spot is back on the cards.

He picks the ball up, drives into the box and beats Wesley Fofana with a lovely pirouette before finding the far corner.

Post

PSG 1-0 Newcastle

Newcastle haven't had many chances but they should do better now as Joe Willock finds Anthony Elanga at the back post with a cross, but Elanga gets his hooked attempt all wrong and PSG deal with the danger.

'Chelsea need a period of possession'

Napoli 0-1 Chelsea

Leon Osman

Former Everton midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live at Stadio Diego Armando Maradona

Chelsea have been under a bit of pressure in the last five minutes or so. They just need to get a period of possession in the Napoli half.

'Beautiful finish'

Man City 2-0 Galatasaray

Michael Brown

Former Manchester City midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live at Etihad Stadium

Cherki gets into good areas and his feet are incredible. Doku picks him out on the edge of the area, a really good reverse pass, Cherki shapes to go for the far post finish and chops it into the near. Beautiful finish.

Cushion for City

Man City 2-0 Galatasaray

Shamoon Hafez

Football news reporter at Etihad Stadium

That's an unerring finish from Rayan Cherki, but the Frenchman had so much time to pick his spot.

City are in total control now and have that cushion they needed before half-time.

It's another assist for Jeremy Doku too.
