Richarlison’s injury-time winner handed Tottenham a 2-1 victory over Chelsea in their pre-season friendly in Sydney.
Roberto De Zerbi’s side took the lead in the first half against the run of play as Sandro Tonali’s first-time strike on the edge of the box deflected off Levi Colwill and past Chelsea goalkeeper Teddy Sharman-Lowe, who was deputising for the injured Roberto Sanchez.
Chelsea were not behind for long as Estevao equalised for Xabi Alonso’s side in the 21st minute with a header from Jamie Gittens’ cross.
Spurs were then dealt a blow less than four minutes after the half-time break as Kevin Danso, who was brought on as a substitute during the break, was sent off for hauling down Joao Pedro, who was clean through on goal.

Antonin Kinsky produced several excellent saves to keep Chelsea at bay in the second half, the best of which came with a close-range reflex save to deny Estevao.

Spurs then won the game with the last attack of the game as Jamie Donley’s low strike hit Chelsea’s post but the ball fell to Richarlison, who had smartly followed up and finished from close range.
