In September 2023, Tottenham Hotspur agreed a deal with Hajduk Split for Luka Vušković to arrive at the north London club in the summer of 2025.
The centre-back spent 18 months on loan at Radomiak Radom and KVC Westerlo before arriving at Tottenham last month.
Vušković could be on the move again as the Premier League club intend to send him on loan this summer. Hamburger SV is one of the clubs to have come forward to sign him.
At the weekend, Hamburger Abendblatt reported the Bundesliga newcomers have been working hard to sign the 18-year-old on loan. They have now made progress if Kicker‘s report is to be believed.
Hamburger SV’s desire to sign the Croatia international has been known for a while. His brother, Mario, is at the German side and serving a ban for doping. Last month, he said Luka would love to join him at his current team.
According to Kicker, Hamburger SV have reached an agreement with the defender for a loan move. They now have to agree terms with Thomas Frank’s side to seal the transfer.
Tottenham have received several offers for Luka Vušković and are deciding the best club for him to continue his development.
HSV are ‘waiting daily for the signal’ from the Europa League winners. Their agreement with the player gives them an edge over other unnamed clubs to sign the Tottenham man on loan.
