However, most of Europe’s top clubs are not rushing to make a move; maybe that could change after the World Cup. For now, though, it is pretty silent, which doesn’t really bode well considering the star’s importance to the mercato plans.
Spurs moving for Leao
According to Calciomercato.com, though, that may be on the verge of changing with Tottenham ‘rushing’ to make a move happen. Indeed, Roberto De Zerbi is a big fan of his and the Italian could push a move through quickly.
A move to Spurs would also appeal for Leao, who wants to play Premier League football moving forward. Additionally, reuniting with Sandro Tonali would be a pulling factor and this appears to be a two-way street, with the midfielder feeling the same.
Barcelona remain in the background, but it seems that the Lilywhites currently have the best opportunity of landing the winger.
