Liverpool face a Tottenham side in crisis on Sunday, with Arne Slot making five big changes to his lineup for the Premier League clash at Anfield.

Alisson returns to the Liverpool XI after injury, with Giorgi Mamardashvili resuming his duties on the bench after filling in against Galatasaray.

He does so behind a back four of Dominik Szoboszlai, Joe Gomez, Virgil van Dijk and Andy Robertson.

Ryan Gravenberch and Alexis Mac Allister are deployed in midfield.

Jeremie Frimpong, Florian Wirtz and Rio Ngumoha are in the more advanced roles with Cody Gakpo starting up front.

Ngumoha therefore makes his full Premier League debut, having come off the bench 11 times previously.

That leaves the likes of Mo Salah, Hugo Ekitike and Ibrahima Konate on the bench against a Tottenham side expected to be led by Igor Tudor for the last time.

While Liverpool are widely agreed to have underperformed this season, that pales in comparison to their opponents – who are fighting relegation having won only seven of their previous 29 league games.

Tudor has made four changes to an injury-hit side, with Tottenham only able to name seven substitutes including three goalkeepers and three teenagers with a minute of senior football between them.
