Juventus’ attempts to conclude a deal to sign Randal Kolo Muani (27) from Juventus are not progressing, as other clubs join the race to sign the Frenchman, as per a report from Foot Mercato. Aston Villa and Crystal Palace are among the interested parties.
Last season, Kolo Muani scored just once in 30 appearances in the Premier League for Tottenham Hotspur. It was a difficult spell for the Frenchman, who has now returned to parent club PSG. However, his future does not lie at the Parc des Princes. A departure is expected in the coming weeks.
Juventus had looked his most likely destination. A loan with a buy option worth €40m was close, Foot Mercato understands, however, the Italian side’s financial difficulties have seen the deal stall. PSG are losing patience and have therefore opened the door for competitors to swoop in; Juventus have been informed of this.
Crystal Palace, Aston Villa, and Borussia Dortmund are all interested in signing Kolo Muani. It was reported earlier this week by L’Équipe that, despite a difficult spell in North London, Tottenham Hotspur are also interested.
