We are delighted to announce that Dan Lewindon has been appointed as the Club’s new Performance Director.
Dan will join from City Football Group, where he is currently serving his notice period, and will have responsibility for medical, sports science, nutrition and psychology across our Men’s, Women’s and Academy teams.
Having qualified as a physiotherapist from Nottingham University, Dan worked in the NHS before moving into sport, firstly as Lead Physio at Northampton Saints rugby team, followed by seven years as Senior Physio for England Rugby.
He then moved to the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA), spending six years as Head of High Performance Science and Medicine, and joined City Football Group in August 2022 as Director of Player Health and Performance, working across their network of global clubs.
Commenting on the appointment, Johan Lange, Sporting Director, said: “We are delighted that Dan will be joining us as Performance Director.
“He was the standout candidate and brings a wealth of experience across a wide range of team and individual sports, working in high-performance environments with elite athletes.
“Dan also has a strong academic background and his expertise will be hugely beneficial to us as we drive this area of the Club with innovative thinking. We look forward to Dan starting.”
