Tottenham Hotspur fans have some bad news coming their way.

Spurs sacked Ange Postecoglou and have appointed Thomas Frank as his successor. The Dane has been tasked with taking the club to the next level after their Europa League win last season.

Daniel Levy is expected to back Frank in the transfer window, and Tottenham have been linked with several names in recent weeks and months.

However, one of their key targets has no interest in a move to North London this summer.

What Bryan Mbeumo has personally informed Tottenham about joining them

Bryan Mbeumo is expected to leave Brentford this summer.

The Cameroon international, hailed as ‘unplayable‘ by Frank, was absolutely incredible under the Dane last season, and he is due a big move away from the Gtech Community Stadium.

Tottenham have shown interest in Mbeumo, and many felt that his old boss’ presence in North London could help them secure a move.

However, that is not going to happen, if David Ornstein is to be believed.

The journalist revealed on Friday that Mbeumo has informed both Tottenham and Brentford that he doesn’t want to move to North London.

The player’s preference, if he is to change clubs this summer, is a switch to Manchester United.

Ornstein tweeted: “Bryan Mbeumo has told Brentford and Tottenham he will only join Manchester United if he leaves Brentford this summer.”

The journalist also claimed that Spurs have denied making any offer for the Bees star in this window.

Tottenham could miss out on another key target if they don’t act fast

Many Tottenham fans hoped to see their club make some big moves early in the window after winning the Europa League last term.

However, Levy is yet to make concrete attempts to sign anyone, and with Mbeumo no longer an option, their list has become smaller.

Another attacker Tottenham are interested in is Eberechi Eze, but Spurs will have to act fast if they want to have any chance of signing him.

Arsenal also want to sign the Crystal Palace star, and reports have claimed that Bukayo Saka is privately encouraging Eze to join him at the Emirates.

The last thing Tottenham fans would want is to miss out on another target, especially to Arsenal.
