Tottenham Hotspur have identified Fiorentina star Moise Kean as a target to improve their attack next season.

The striker joined the Serie A side from Juventus for €13m in July 2024 and has been a regular since then.

He managed 34 goals and seven assists from 77 matches, and nine goals and four assists are from 33 matches this season.

His performances have already caught the Premier League attention. Last month, Sport Witness covered claims from Italy of Fulham pursuing the 26-year-old for the summer and Tottenham have now joined the chase for the frontman.

Kean’s Serie A stats this season are as follows:

Appearances: 26

Starts: 23

Total minutes: 2,047

Minutes per game: 79

Expected Goals: 15.06

Expected Assists: 0.18

Big chances missed: 18

New Tottenham manager chasing Kean

Calciomercato.it now cover Tottenham Hotspur’s interest in Moise Kean and their plan to secure his services.

Spurs have endured a difficult season and already parted ways with both Thomas Frank and Igor Tudor this year. They appointed Roberto De Zerbi as the latter’s successor last week.

The new manager’s immediate task is to help the north London club, who are 17th in the table, avoid relegation. At the same time, he has identified the Italy international as a target for the next window.

De Zerbi is interested in bringing the former Everton man back to the Premier League.

The player seems ‘destined to leave’ Fiorentina after this season. AC Milan have also shown interest in the frontman but aren’t willing to meet the €50m fee requested by La Viola.

Tottenham, on the other hand, could ‘come very close’ to meeting Fiorentina’s demand to acquire Kean’s signature. This is likely to please the former Marseille manager.

With Kean potentially thinking about a new destination, De Zerbi can open his side’s door in the summer. This would only be possible if the north London club were to continue in the Premier League.

Contract, value and agent info

Last August, Moise Kean signed an extension until 2029, and it includes a release clause of around €62m.

Transfermarkt now value him at €40m, while a fee around €50m is needed to convince Fiorentina.

World Soccer Agency, owned by Italian agents Alessandro Lucci and Alessandro Lelli, are managing the player. They represent several players including Tottenham Hotspur’s Dejan Kulusevski.
