Roberto De Zerbi has a group of his Tottenham players back at Hotspur Way working on the training pitches during the international break.
While most of the Italian's Spurs stars are away on international duty, roughly a third of the group are back at the club's Enfield training complex either working on their fitness and development with the head coach and his staff or recovering from injuries.
De Zerbi has got James Maddison, Conor Gallagher and Dominic Solanke taking part in sessions along with Destiny Udogie, Tosin Adarabioyo, Marcos Senesi, Mohammed Kudus and £85m summer signing Savio as well as the returning Dejan Kulusevski, back among the action after more than 500 days out.
Here are five things we noticed from the video footage of this week's training sessions at Hotspur Way:
Kulusevski looking good
Some doubted that Kulusevski would ever return as he suffered setbacks along way since suffering a complicated injury to his right patella in a 2-0 defeat to Crystal Palace all the way back in May 2025.
However, the Swede is made of stern stuff and is now back in full training with the group. There is a hope that if he can continue in the weeks ahead unscathed, with none of the little niggles and problems that players pick up after so long out of the game, then he could get back into a matchday squad this month with a place on the bench.
The 26-year-old looked bright in the training footage from this week and set up team-mate Mohammed Kudus for a couple of goals with some incisive passing. Despite the Ghanaian having been at Spurs for more than a year now and suffered from his own long term injury, the two attackers have never played in a game together.
With Kudus operating down the right and Kulusevski feeding him the ball into his runs in the small-sided mini-games, could Kulusevski be the number 10 De Zerbi turns to when he's fully fit, with Maddison and eventually Xavi, rather than his more regular role as a right winger before his injury?
The Sweden international certainly has the quality and when everyone is fit, Tottenham will have versatile and skilful attacking midfielders galore.

Youngsters involved
With so few first teamers around due to the international break, De Zerbi was working with a blended group of senior players and also some from Wayne Burnett's under-21s development squad.
That meant players including the likes of James Rowswell, Ellis Lehane, Alfie Dorrington, Callum Olusesi, Maeson King, Tyrese Hall and Tye Hall were all taking part among others.
There is always a tradition of first team players making sure they go along the young players when they emerge for training and giving them high fives and that was no different this week with Savio and Kulusevski shown in video footage doing exactly that.
Tosin the talker
There was one noticeable player voice constantly heard during the training sessions and that was summer signing Tosin Adarabioyo.
The 29-year-old arrived from Chelsea on a permanent deal last month to bolster De Zerbi's defensive numbers and the big centre-back impressed in his first start for the club in the Carabao Cup defeat at Liverpool, following a couple of minutes from the bench against Everton in the Premier League.
In the training footage shown this week, Adarabayio was constantly talking to those around him and barking instructions at his team-mates young and old.
Spurs need some strong voices and personalities in the squad and they could need the former Chelsea and Fulham defender in the weeks ahead as Jan Paul van Hecke has suffered a toe injury while on duty with the Netherlands, which meant he had to withdraw from the international squad as it was too painful to kick the ball.
With Adarabioyo a right-sided centre-back, he would likely come into the team for the Dutchman alongside Micky van de Ven rather than the left-sided Marcos Senesi to ensure balance to the backline.
Udogie and Savio looking strong
Two players stood out with their running down the left flank in the training sessions and they were Destiny Udogie and Savio.
Udogie has a big fan in his compatriot De Zerbi and the Italian left-back just needs a run of games and improved fitness, with injuries having fragmented his time at Spurs over the years. The 23-year-old looked strong in training, embarking on various dribbles and scoring with one superb low shot inside the right-hand post.
Savio has remarkable pace and dribbling ability and will be a tremendous asset to Tottenham once he transfers the finishing ability he showed in the sessions to the pitch in matches. The 22-year-old Brazilian has been utilised on the right so far by De Zerbi but could form a lethal left side pairing with Udogie.
De Zerbi instructions
The Tottenham head coach was front and centre in the training footage and his instructions to his players were clear throughout.
The 47-year-old told the group at one point: "We have to keep the ball with the right occupation of the space, and enjoy [ourselves] with the ball. Okay?"
Spurs need to improve in the Premier League and quickly rise off the bottom of the table. Many of the metrics behind their performances have improved but the scoreline is the most important set of numbers. The Lilywhites need to improve their occupation of the final third, starting from October 10 when they travel to Old Trafford to face Manchester United.
De Zerbi and the players are confident that the team will come good. If they start enjoying themselves with the ball then the Tottenham fans will also start enjoying the results.
