There’s a claim in the Turkish media that Fenerbahce are to step up their pursuit of Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Yves Bissouma.

The Mali international has linked with a move to the Super Lig side this summer following reports Jose Mourinho wants to strengthen his central midfield.

Fotomac today report on Fenerbahce’s interest in the Tottenham player and state the Premier League side are looking to offload him after recently brining in Bayern Munich’s Joao Palhinha on loan.

It’s claimed the Yellow Canaries are preparing a €15m package for the 28-year-old, but will face competition from West Ham United.

Sporting director Devin Özek will reportedly travel to England in the coming days to hold transfer talks over Bissouma with Tottenham, and it’s hoped he can finalise a deal this week.

In recent days there’s also been reports of interest from Juventus, who have been credited with interest for some time but have concern over Bissouma taking up a none-EU spot.

Bissouma made 44 appearances last season, scoring two goals, and is contracted to the Premier League side until June 2026.
