The defender was named in Thomas Tuchel's 26-man squad for the tournament held in the USA, Mexico and Canada this summer. England face Croatia (17 June), Ghana (23 June) and Panama (27 June) in Group L.
Djed, 25, earned the first of his four caps against Serbia in World Cup qualifying in September. He last featured in the 1-1 friendly draw against Uruguay at Wembley in March.

Spurs and England at the World Cup
We had four players in the first England squad to travel to the tournament in 1950 - Eddie Baily, Ted Ditchburn, Bill Nicholson and Alf Ramsey, all members of our 'push and run' team that would clinch the First Division title the next season. Alf played all three matches and Eddie made his England debut in the third. Bill and Ted did not feature. Sir Alf went on to manage England to their World Cup trumph in 1966. Bill, 'Mr Tottenham', led us to the glory, glory years of the early 1960s and early 1970s.
Jimmy Greaves and Maurice Norman played all four games as England went out in the quarter-finals to Brazil in 1962 while Greavsie was famously injured during the group stages of 1966 and couldn't regain his place back in the team as England lifted the Jules Rimet Trophy at Wembley in 1966.
Alan Mullery and Martin Peters played all the games as England went out in the quarter-finals against West Germany in 1970 - Alan scored in that game - and Glenn Hoddle played in his first World Cup in Spain in 1982.
Glenn returned with Chris Waddle and Gary Stevens as England reached the quarter-finals again in 1986 - beaten by Diego Maradona's 'Hand of God' goal in Mexico - while Gary Lineker and Paul Gascoigne starred in England's run to the semi-finals in Italy in 1990, the tournament that lifted Gazza onto the the world stage.
Darren Anderton scored in a group game in France in 1998 - England managed by Glenn Hoddle - and Jermain Defoe scored in the 2010 finals in South Africa.
Harry Kane took on the mantle in 2018 and became the first Spurs player to win the tournament's Golden Boot with six goals, spearheading Gareth Southgate's Three Lions to the semi-finals, where they lost against Croatia. Kieran Trippier scored a free-kick in that game. Earlier, Dele scored in the quarter-final against Sweden, while three Spurs players - Kane, Trippier and Eric Dier - scored in the penalty shoot-out to beat Colombia in the Round of 16.
