Djed Spence has been named in the England National Team squad for the first time.

Having appeared for the Under-21 side seven times between 2022 and 2023, Djed's impressive form for us since the turn of the year has seen the 25-year-old rewarded with a place in Thomas Tuchel's latest squad.

Having endured a tumultuous first few years in N17, the full-back ceased an opportunity last season and hasn't looked back, consistently producing stirring performances while he has missed just five of our games in all competitions since he made his full Premier League debut in a 5-0 win over Southampton in December, 2024.

After Saturday's Premier League clash with AFC Bournemouth, he'll link up with the Three Lions as they take on two FIFA World Cup qualifiers next week - a clash with Andorra at Villa Park on Saturday 6 September (5pm UK) and before a trip to face Serbia on Tuesday 9 September (7.45pm).

England currently top their qualifying group having won each of their three opening games.

Congratulations, Djed!
