Fabio Paratici will return to Tottenham Hotspur this summer and the Italian director could play a big role in the club’s summer transfer window.

As TBR Football has previously reported, Paratici had agreed terms with Tottenham ahead of his ban being lifted by FIFA later this summer.

Throughout the last few months, Paratici’s influence at Tottenham has remained strong, with the 52-year-old being a trusted ally of Daniel Levy.

Paratici has brought some brilliant players to North London during his last spell, and now, he needs to start using his Italian contacts to bring another top player to N17.

Fabio Paratici should bring Douglas Luiz to Tottenham for £34m

Juventus want £34 million to sell Douglas Luiz this summer and have made the Brazilian available for transfer, according to Gazzetta.

That is a deal which Tottenham Hotspur and Fabio Paratici should be all over, given the team’s need for a new midfielder.

Ange Postecoglou struggled to find a settled number six last season as he rotated between Yves Bissouma and Rodrigo Bentancur, but both players struggled for consistency.

Tottenham are ready to sell Bissouma this summer, meanwhile, Bentancur has a new contract offer from the North London club.

Everton are keen on Bissouma, and if they can manage to offload the 28-year-old, those funds should be reinvested in the signing of Luiz.

The 27-year-old hasn’t quite got on in Turin as he had hoped, but his performances for Aston Villa should be enough to persuade Spurs to bring him back to England.

Tottenham should also consider Joao Palhinha

Joao Palhinha is another player who could be available for sale this summer and could be a top option for any Premier League club in need of a midfielder.

TBR Football revealed back in April that Bayern were open to selling Palhinha, despite the player himself keen to remain in Germany and fight for his place in the team.

The German media have slammed Palhinha’s performances this season, however, Spurs should take a risk on the 29-year-old.

Bayern paid £47 million to bring the Portuguese international to the Allianz Arena last summer, but the move has not gone to plan, with the midfielder making just nine starts.
