Tottenham Hotspur remain very active on the market on transfer deadline day.

Spurs have made some good signings in this window. Mohammed Kudus, Kota Takai and Xavi Simons have all been brought in, while Joao Palhinha has been signed on loan.

That is a decent window, but every Tottenham fan will tell you that their side needs more, especially after the disappointing defeat against Bournemouth on Saturday.

Daniel Levy has now shown some interest in a big-name striker.

Tottenham enquire about signing Randal Kolo Muani on deadline day

Randal Kolo Muani is a fantastic striker, but things have not worked out for him at Paris Saint-Germain.

PSG signed Kolo Muani for around £76 million from Eintracht Frankfurt in 2023 (BBC), but he has started just 23 games in all competitions for them.

The striker was loaned out to Juventus in January this year, and he had a very good spell in Turin.

The Italian giants have been keen to sign Kolo Muani on a permanent deal all summer, but an agreement between PSG and Juve has not been reached.

Talks between the two clubs, as things stand, are ‘off’, and Fabrizio Romano has revealed that Tottenham have entered the race for his signature.

In the early hours of Monday morning, the journalist tweeted: “If talks with Juventus remain off as they are right now, Randal Kolo Muani can emerge as an option for several top clubs on Deadline Day.

“Can exclusively reveal that Tottenham made an enquiry for Kolo in the last 24h… could be one to watch.”

Randal Kolo Muani has already rejected Tottenham once

Kolo Muani has been on Tottenham’s radar for quite some time.

The Frenchman was made available on loan in the January transfer window, and Spurs went really hard to sign him back then.

However, Kolo Muani rejected Tottenham at the last minute and decided to join Juventus instead.
