"I think that when let’s say results are not top and you get injuries, that’s where you can feel you are being pressured to take decisions that you maybe don’t want to take for the future.

Spurs go into the clash against Frankfurt on Wednesday evening in fifth place in the Champions League standings and on the verge of securing a spot in the last-16 stage, which would also see them bypass the play-off round.
A top-eight finish would be required to automatically qualify for the last-16 stage, with Tottenham currently on 14 points and one ahead of Newcastle United, PSG, Chelsea, Barcelona, Sporting Lisbon, Manchester City, Atletico Madrid and Atalanta, while Inter Milan and Juventus are just two points behind Spurs.
