Tottenham have been wheeling and dealing in the transfer market like never before with £237million splashed out already in the summer window.
That is more money than Spurs have ever spent in the entirety of a transfer window previously and there is more to come from the north London club with Roberto De Zerbi keen on injecting further quality into his squad. That will also require trimming his player numbers for a season that will not bring with it European football and therefore fewer fixtures.
Tottenham have also entered the exclusive club of signing a £100million player, albeit with the potential add-ons taking it to that amount, and are also set to seal their third highest sale in their history as well once 19-year-old Luka Vuskovic makes his £52million move to Brighton.
Spurs have had two new exits in recent days with one first team player and the youngest ever goalscorer in the history of the Lilywhites heading out of the doors of the club.
Tottenham's sporting director Johan Lange and CEO Vinai Venkatesham have been trying to secure De Zerbi's transfer targets. Plenty has happened already this summer before pre-season gets underway today at Hotspur Way, with a lot more to do by the time the transfer window closes on Monday, August 31.
