Having scored seven goals against Crystal Palace the previous weekend at Selhurst Park, we took our goal tally to 11 in two WSL games with a 4-0 victory over Aston Villa on Sunday afternoon.
As we registered 35 or more shots at goal for a second consecutive weekend, our four goals came in the second half, with Victoria Pelova netting a second brace in as many weeks and that was followed by a first Spurs goal from Caitlin Dijkstra and Cathinka Tandberg opening her account for the season.
That win over the Villans sent us up to second in the table and also stretchered our unbeaten run in the WSL to seven in total – a run stretching back into last season.
