Later, the former Premier League defender awarded him the Premier League Man of the Match award, which should seriously boost his confidence.
“Play of the Match goes to Gyokeres. The best I’ve seen him in a big game, and he’s never going to be the most perfect striker, but to be a nuisance and score goals, so I think he deserves it,” Neville added.
The striker now needs to make this the moment he finally bursts into life in an Arsenal shirt following his sensational display.
