Harry Kane has finally claimed his first piece of silverware. Bayern Munich were crowned Bundesliga champions on Sunday folowing Bayer Leverkusen's draw with Freiburg.

Kane left Tottenham Hotspur in the summer of 2023 in search of adding medals and trophies to what had otherwise been an impressive career.

And despite a glitch last season which saw Leverkusen win the German title after an incredible unbeaten season, Bayern are back on top of the pile and secured the Bundesliga title on Sunday afternoon, sparking wild scenes of celebration from Kane and his teammates.

There is always plenty of speculation around Kane 's future and there is understood to be a release clause in his contract which opens in January ahead of a summer deal. Tottenham have their own clause to give them the first chance to re-sign Kane, but the England captain has his sights set on a completely different club way from football when he retires.

The Tottenham Hotspur legend isn't alone as many footballers find solace on the golf greens; notably, ex-Spurs teammate and Welsh wizard Gareth Bale swiftly embraced the fairways after retiring in 2023.

On his own Cleats Club channel (as reported by Goal), Kane shared a personal ambition: "I've never got a hole in one," before adding with determination: "One of my lifetime goals is to join the hole in one club!"

Bayern could have claimed the title on Saturday but a last-second goal from RB Leipzig ensure they only drew 3-3 and had to wait until Sunday to see if they could do it without playing. Kane, himself, was not playing on Saturday, due to suspension.

Something he was not impressed with.

"First of all, I think it's an insane decision," Kane said on his booking in the match against Mainz. "It's never a yellow card. Unfortunately, sometimes people come to the Allianz Arena and try to make a name for themselves.

"That's why I'm really disappointed that I got the yellow card, because of course I knew I already had four. And secondly, I think the rule is crazy anyway. Five yellow cards in 34 games means a suspension. Crazy, crazy decision. It's kind of my story that I'll miss the Leipzig game. But no worries, I'll celebrate more than anyone else."
