Tottenham have been told to return to the former manager following a 5-2 loss against Atletico Madrid in the Champions League
Former Tottenham Hotspur manager Harry Redknapp has revealed that he received a phone call from former Spurs chairman Daniel Levy, amid the club’s poor form. Tottenham are currently on a run of seven games without a win in all competitions.
The form in the Premier League means that relegation to the Championship is a real possibility at the end of the season. Spurs sit in 16th position, just one point clear of the bottom three.
Their woes continued in the Champions League on Tuesday night. Interim boss Igor Tudor opted to play Antonin Kinsky in goal, but he was replaced by Guglielmo Vicario after just 18 minutes with Spurs 3-0 down against Atletico Madrid.

The game ended in a 5-2 defeat for Tottenham, piling more pressure on Tudor, who has lost all four of his games in charge of the club since taking over from Thomas Frank.
Former Spurs players Ryan Mason and Robbie Keane have been mentioned as possible replacements should the club decide to make another change. Another name to be mentioned is Redknapp.
Speaking on TalkSPORT last week, the former Tottenham boss revealed: "I got a phone call last week from Daniel, funnily enough.
"I think I spoke to him once since I left all that time ago, and I was in the car last week, and suddenly the phone goes, it's Daniel Levy.
"I thought 'that's strange' and I was on the phone to him for about half hour, chatting to him, and he was explaining what happened to him, and how he got marched out of there, which was really strange."
He added: "And he did say to me 'If I was there now, and I'm not just saying it, I would bring you back in until the end of the season, Harry' - so it would have been interesting."
Redknapp had a successful time in charge of Spurs between 2008 and 2012. Of his 198 games in charge, he won 98 times, drew 48 and lost 52, leading Spurs to Champions League qualification.
Redknapp has already revealed that he would be open to returning to the club, speaking at the Cheltenham Festival, he said: "I've been asked a few times if I'd go back to Spurs and it's probably not going to happen, is it?
"Would I go back? Of course I would, but I doubt very much it's going to happen."
