Completing her first full season in England’s top flight, having joined us midway through 2024/25 campaign, Oli has enjoyed a remarkable season this term, with the season currently our joint-highest top goalscorer in all competitions this campaign.

Signed from Rosengard in January, 2025, where she was coming off a long spell on the sideline with an injury, the Denmark international made an instant impact in Lilywhite, scoring a stoppage time winner on her debut at Crystal Palace later that month – early signs of what was to come from her.

With a full pre-season under her belt, the 24-year-old has taken to the WSL like a duck to water and has been one of the standout performers throughout the term. First and foremost, the creative midfielder has been clinical in the final third and registered 13 goal contributions (nine goals and four assists), 10 of those coming in the WSL, across 27 appearances in all competitions.

And she has showcased a range of different goals, including some composed finishes from inside the area, particularly her trademark chip over the goalkeeper, or a number of stunning strikes from distance, which has seen her rack up a number of the league’s goal of the month nominations during the season.

Starting in 18 of her 20 WSL games this term, Oli has just been a joy to watch week in, week out, with her breathtaking skills and her ability to ease past defenders, completing 3.7 dribbles per game – fifth highest in the whole league - with 1.5 of those being successful.

Also in the running for the award this year are Manchester City’s Kerstin Casparij and Khadija Shaw, Aston Villa’s Kirsty Hanson, Everton’s Ruby Mace, Manchester United’s Jess Park, Arsenal’s Alessia Russo and Chelsea’s Alyssa Thompson.

As usual with WSL awards, you can help Oli to be named Player of the Season by voting for the midfielder via the link below. Voting is now open and will close at 12noon on Wednesday 13 May.

The Player of the Season award will be announced at the WSL Awards evening on Monday 18 May.
