Former Everton forward Richarlison’s name is gaining a lot of traction ahead of this summer’s transfer window.

It has been almost three years since Everton cashed in on the Brazilian forward as he made the move south.

However, it has been a testing few years in north London for Richarlison, who has not settled in the way he did at Goodison Park.

David Moyes previously criticised Richarlison after the Brazilian showboated against Nottingham Forest.

But there could be an opportunity for the Toffees to welcome the 27-year-old back to Merseyside this summer.

With Richarlison’s Tottenham Hotspur future coming under real speculation, Moyes’ stance on the player has now been shared.

Everton manager David Moyes is a fan on Richarlison

Ahead of the summer, Everton are believed to be interested in a Richarlison reunion, with his future in north London uncertain.

It would certainly be a blockbuster move for the Blues who are set to move into their new stadium over the coming months.

And according to Alan Myers, Moyes is a fan of the Brazilian, but whether a deal will happen or not is a different matter.

‘Would certainly be interesting, I think Moyes likes him as a player, not sure if it happens tbh,’ said Myers on social media.

It has been suggested Tottenham would be open to selling Richarlison for £40m, having previously bought the forward for £60m.

After almost three years, Everton may have to consider why Spurs would be so willing to offload the 27-year-old for £20m less than what they paid.

Richarlison needs a strong end to the season

It has been another frustrating campaign for Richarlison, with his game time severely hindered by his injuries.

Of course, that is something which Everton would have to consider if they are to consider making a move.

But the Brazilian is in desperate need of a strong end to the season.

Some Everton fans are worried about Richarlison’s injury record, and they would be right to feel that way.

However, if he can make a return and enjoy a solid end to the campaign, it could ease the mind of those on Merseyside.
