Igor Tudor will look to help Tottenham Hotspur avoid relegation and make a deep run in the Champions League during his temporary stint in charge
New Tottenham Hotspur interim head coach Igor Tudor will be popular with Spurs fans if previous comments on how he wants to play are anything to go by. The Croatian will be in charge of Tottenham's first team until the end of the season.
Should Tudor prove successful in his temporary stint, football.london understands he will be in contention for the permanent position this summer.
Roberto De Zerbi and Mauricio Pochettino remain strong candidates to become Spurs' long-term manager. De Zerbi is currently available after departing Marseille earlier this week, whilst Pochettino is concentrating on leading the USA at this summer's World Cup.
Tudor will start work when the squad returns to training on Monday, as Spurs begin preparations for next Sunday's North London Derby against Arsenal.

And the 47-year-old has previously explained how he wants his teams to play. Tudor was appointed Marseille boss in 2022 and revealed he wanted his side to play entertaining football.
He said: "'I want courageous and intensive football. Not solely based on the defence.
"I want people who come to the stadium to be entertained and not disappointed."
Tudor's football should go down well with those who thought previous Spurs boss Thomas Frank was too cautious and boring. It is also claimed via an Italian source to the Daily Mail that his style is similar to Jurgen Klopp’s Borussia Dortmund.
Meanwhile, former Borussia Dortmund manager Edin Terzic and former RB Leipzig head coach Marco Rose are also said to be in the running for the Spurs job.
The former has been out of work for 18 months since leaving Dortmund, barely two weeks after leading them to the 2024 Champions League final. The latter, meanwhile, was dismissed as Leipzig's boss less than a year ago.
Other names being linked include Crystal Palace boss Oliver Glasner, who last month announced he will leave Selhurst Park at the end of the season.
The Austrian won the FA Cup and the Community Shield with the Eagles last year, thereby attracting significant attention over his next destination.
