There are a number of former Arsenal players who are making their way in the coaching world.

Cesc Fabregas is doing a solid job over at Como, while Patrick Vieira is pretty experienced as a manager at this point.

Meanwhile, Thierry Henry has dipped his toe in management too.

Another former Gunner who is looking to make waves in management is Jack Wilshere.

The Arsenal icon used to coach the Gunners’ U21s, while Wilshere recently rejected a return to Arsenal in order to pursue other opportunities.

Speaking on TalkSPORT, Wilshere was asked about his coaching aspirations, and interestingly, he was asked if he would take a job at Tottenham if he was offered the chance to go to Spurs.

Jack Wilshere responds when asked if he’d go to Tottenham

Wilshere was asked if he’d take a coaching job at Spurs if he was given a role on good money.

Of course, as an Arsenal legend, Wilshere isn’t necessarily the biggest fan of Tottenham, and, in true Jack Wilshere fashion, he made it clear that he wouldn’t take this job.

“Okay. if the phone rang and you got offered an unbelievable job with great money but it was Spurs would you go?” Wilshere was asked.

“No,” Wilshere said.

Jack Wilshere’s ‘crazy’ Tottenham prediction

Wilshere has made it clear just how much he doesn’t like Tottenham Hotspur on numerous occasions in the past.

Indeed, Wilshere famously led the ‘what do we think of Tottenham?’ chants after winning the FA Cup, while prior to this season, he backed Spurs to seriously struggle.

“What is your crazy prediction for next season?” Wilshere was asked.

“Arsenal win the Champions League, Tottenham win five matches,” Wilshere said.

We’ve seen Arsenal legends manage Tottenham before – George Graham for example, but it sounds as though hell may freeze over before we see Wilshere in the Spurs dugout.
