Tottenham Hotspur have woken up in this summer’s transfer window.

The North Londoners completed the signing of Mohammed Kudus from West Ham United on Thursday, and on the same day, Spurs agreed to trigger Morgan Gibbs White’s release clause.

The English midfielder is expected to undergo a medical at Tottenham on Friday before completing his move from Nottingham Forest.

Both Kudus and Gibbs-White are excellent additions to Thomas Frank’s side, but how will they fit into this Spurs team? Jamie O’Hara has the answer.

Jamie O’Hara thinks James Maddison will be dropped at Tottenham

Tottenham have a number of options in attack.

The North Londoners made Mathys Tel’s loan move permanent earlier in the window, and the Frenchman is an option across the frontline.

Apart from him, Tottenham have Dominic Solanke, Son Heung-min, Wilson Odobert, Dejan Kulusevski, Brennan Johnson, James Maddison and even young Mikey Moore available in attack.

If Mohammed Kudus and Morgan Gibbs-White are both to start, others will have to make way.

O’Hara believes Maddison is the one who will be pushed down the pecking order.

The pundit said on talkSPORT: “I think that maybe pushes Maddison down the pecking order a little bit. I’m really interested to see where he puts…

“Kulusevski is a good player. When he is fit and he’s on it, he’s really good. Do you play Kudus on the left, Kulusevski on the right, Morgan Gibbs-White (as a 10), and Solanke (up front)?

“That, in my head, is probably how you would start. But, Kudus, he can play on the right as well, and he can play as a number 10.

“It’s interesting, it’s a good problem to have. We’ve got a lot of games.”

Tottenham will have to sell players

Maddison will likely be the one to make way for one of Kudus or Gibbs-White, but we still think the Englishman will have a role to play.

However, the same cannot be said about a few other players.

The likes of Yves Bissouma, Rodrigo Bentancur and even captain Son Heung-min may need to be sold to keep everyone at the club happy.
