Brett Goldstein, star of the series Ted Lasso, admitted in an interview with TalkSPORT that he was trying to turn Jennifer Lopez into a supporter of Tottenham Hotspur, the club he openly supports. The actor worked alongside the Latina actress and singer on a new project, 'Office Romance', and took the opportunity to try to win her over to the Spurs cause.
"She doesn’t have a choice," he said. Goldstein has had a tough season, with Tottenham close to relegation. “It’s been horrible. Being a fan, especially of our teams, is a form of self-harm. It’s painful. But avoiding relegation felt like winning the World Cup,” he stated.
Goldstein also spoke about Harry Kane, with whom he has a good relationship. “I admire his talent and, above all, his big heart off the field,” he said. “I love Harry Kane. Not only is he one of our best footballers, but from what I’ve seen, he seems to have one of the purest hearts. He’s a pure soul. There’s nothing I like more than a footballer with a pure heart. He seems like a truly good man—and an extraordinary player. I’m very happy to have him in the film,” he added.
