Tottenham Hotspur are heading into a new era under Thomas Frank, and, in the eyes of many, the future looks bright.

Thomas Frank has been tipped to succeed at Spurs, and with Mohammed Kudus on his way to Tottenham, things are looking positive.

However, after finishing 17th in the Premier League last season, there are underlying problems for the north London club.

Speaking on TalkSPORT, John Terry has been discussing how he thinks Tottenham will do this season, and he says that he’s already spotted a problem at Spurs.

John Terry makes Tottenham prediction

Terry spoke about how Spurs are going to do under Thomas Frank.

The Chelsea legend says he thinks Frank is a good manager, but, at the same time, he doesn’t think Spurs are in a good place to kick on, pointing towards the ownership.

Ultimately, the pundit admitted that he still hates Tottenham and he doesn’t want to see them do well.

“How do you think Spurs will do?” Terry was asked.

“Hopefully not too well. I think he’s a really good manager, but the problem is I don’t think they’re in a good place based on where they finished last year.

“I look at Spurs and go the foundations and the facilities are incredible, but I think it’s time for a change and someone to come in and give it a really good go

“I’m happy for them to stay where they are, I hate Spurs and Spurs hate me, it’s really simple. It’s pure hate, I hope they stay where they are if I’m being honest.”

John Terry’s record vs Tottenham

Terry says that he hates Tottenham, and almost 10 years after he retired, it would appear that hatred still runs deep.

Of course, as a Chelsea legend, Terry is never going to be a fan of Spurs, and, during his playing career, he often got the better of his Lilywhite rivals.

Terry won a lot more than he lost against Spurs during his career, and he even scored a few goals in that time too.

The pundit doesn’t expect Tottenham to do all that much this season, but it’s now up to Thomas Frank and his players to prove everyone wrong.
