Tottenham Hotspur have made a decision on whether or not they will sack Thomas Frank as the manager, as a Sky Sports pundit sends a warning to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium faithful.
Frank was appointed the Tottenham manager at the end of last season following the north London club’s decision to sack Ange Postecoglou despite winning the Europa League. The Dane was a huge success at modest Brentford, and his experience in the Premier League saw him earn the move to Tottenham.
Tottenham are doing well at the moment, with the club sitting in fifth place in the Premier League table and picking up eight points from four games in the Champions League.
However, not every Tottenham fan is happy, with many pointing out that Spurs have won just two home games all season.
Frank’s football is not swash-buckling like Postecoglou’s was, with a section of the Tottenham fans not pleased with the pragmatic style under the former Brentford manager.
However, according to journalist Pete O’Rourke, Tottenham are firmly behind Frank, with the board believing that the 52-year-old is the right man for the job.
O’Rourke told Football Insider: “There’s no panic I think from within Tottenham on what’s happening now.
“They’re still confident that Thomas Frank is the man for them and the fans might just have to be patient because Frank’s still working at the best, probably set up for his own side as well at Tottenham.
“So things could be a lot worse than fifth in the table and still competing in the Champions League. It can’t be that hard to be a Spurs fan right now, surely.”

Sky pundit sends warning to Tottenham fans about Thomas Frank
While the Tottenham hierarchy is firmly behind Frank, former Crystal Palace forward Clinton Morrison has warned the fans that the football under him is not going to get any better, as Spurs played out a 2-2 draw with Manchester United at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the Premier League last weekend.
Morrison said on Sky Sports News: “It must be hard to play there for the players, but that is why you are paid good money to be a footballer, to entertain.
“The home fans pay their hard-earned money, and they can voice their opinion. Their opinion might not always be right, but they will think it is right.
“Xavi Simons did not want to come off and Mathys Tel comes on and scores the goal, so Thomas Frank, I think he does know what he is doing the majority of the time.
“I think he has gone in there and done well. The thing with Tottenham is it is not going to be the football that they [fans] expected, because Thomas Frank is not that kind of manager.
“We saw what he did at Brentford. They are hard to beat, they are a threat from set pieces, and they get wins, and that is how it is. So if they thought Thomas Frank coming in was going to be attractive football, it is not going to be like that.
“He knows, Thomas Frank, because he is a very, very good manager, and it is someone who I have got a lot of time and respect for, that he has to be successful at Tottenham, and they have to start winning home games because performances like on the weekend, that is not going to cut it with these Tottenham fans, because they voice their opinion.”
