Kendra Brown netted her first senior goal to help Dulwich Hamlet to a 1-0 win over MK Dons in the FA Women’s National League Division One South East on Sunday.
Joining the Hamlets last month on a dual registration, the midfielder was on hand in the 16th minute as her strike from the edge of the box found the back of the net via the inside of the left post.
Opening her account for the south-east London side, Kendra’s goal proved to be enough in the contest as they went on to secure an important three points in the league, lifting them eight points above safety.
Kendra went on to complete the full match at Champion Hill.
It was our Academy graduate’s sixth appearance for the Hamlets, where she also registered an assist on her debut last month in the 2-1 win over QPR.
Gaitely stars in Hashtag’s win over the Pirates
Elsewhere, Ruby Gaitely put in a Player of the Match performance for Hashtag United as they recorded an impressive 2-0 win over Real Bedford in the FAWNL Southern Premier Division on Sunday.
The midfielder, who also joined the Tags on a dual registration last month alongside Cruz Fuller-Fagan, started her first game for Essex-based side and starred in their excellent display at the Ledger Stadium.
She went on to complete around 75 minutes before making way while Cruz was a late second half substitute for Hashtag United.
That result saw the side climbed out of the relegation zone in the Southern Premier Division and up to eighth in the table.
