Pictures circulating on social media last night (January 27) showed Wilson Odobert and Randal Kolo Muani at the scene of a crash between junctions 24 and 25 of the motorway.

A Ferrari could be seen significantly damaged, with the window cracked and the air bag activated.

The Guardian has since reported that the car belongs to Kolo Muani and had a tyre blowout on the motorway. Odobert was following behind in a separate vehicle and stopped to check on him.

The pair were travelling from the club's training ground to Stansted Airport to catch a flight to Germany for this evening's Champions League game against Eintracht Frankfurt.

Speaking at a press conference ahead of the game, Frank said: "It was a tyre blowing up, so, they are little bit delayed, but they will land later tonight."

He added that everyone involved is "fine".

Premier League footballers 'involved in Hertfordshire M25 crash'

The Dane "fully expects" both men to be available for the game, which could see the North London club secure a top-eight finish in the competition's league phase.

Arrest made after earlier M25 crash

The crash was the second to take place on the M25 on Tuesday after a separate, more serious smash involving three vehicles between junctions 23 and 25 clockwise.

A witness claimed to have seen officers displaying tasers before walking a man away from the scene in handcuffs and Herts Police have now confirmed the arrest took place.

It was made in connection with the theft of a motor vehicle, a spokesperson said.

A police vehicle, a minibus and silver Hyundai Ioniq were involved in the crash.
