Tottenham Hotspur are up against a top six Premier League side for a second straight game as they face Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium tomorrow at 16:30 UK time in their North London derby corresponding to matchday 12 of the campaign.
With only two wins in their last five outings in the English top flight, Spurs will look to pick up something against their in-form rivals and here is a look at the starting eleven Thomas Frank is expected to entrust for the task.
Goalkeeper – Guglielmo Vicario is likely to keep his place in between the sticks for Spurs.
Defenders – Pedro Porro is expected to continue at right back, whereas Djed Spence could also be employed at left back by his manager. Cristian Romero and Micky van de Ven may be handed nods in the centre of defence, thereby rounding off an unchanged defence for Spurs from last time’s Manchester United game.
Kudus returns
Midfielders – Joao Palhinha has established himself as a key part of Thomas Frank’s plans and could play in the double pivot for Tottenham Hotspur, with Pape Mata Sarr likely to be picked over Rodrigo Bentancur to partner with the Portuguese. Xavi Simons is also in line to play as the team’s number 10.
Tottenham’s only change for the Arsenal clash is likely to come on the right flank with £55 million star Mohammed Kudus expected to return to the team. Richarlison, on the other hand, might stay on the left wing.
Forward – Randal Kolo Muani might play as the striker for Tottenham against Arsenal.
Here’s how the Lilywhites might look on paper.
