Will Lankshear scored his fifth goal of the season for Oxford United, but it wasn’t enough to help his side take any points away from West Bromwich Albion on Saturday.

Our on-loan striker was on hand to convert Przemyslaw Placheta’s cross along the six-yard box and give the visitors a 54th-minute lead at The Hawthorns.

But Ryan Mason’s men turned things around to run out 2-1 winners, leaving them 14th in the Championship standings while the U’s stay one place above the drop zone.

Will completed the full 90 minutes – he’s currently up to 15 appearances in all competitions since joining Oxford in the summer.
