Dominic Solanke could return to the Tottenham squad for Thursday night's Premier League trip to AFC Bournemouth.
The striker was not part of the matchday squad against Fulham at the weekend due to illness. Ange Postecoglou explained he was "under the weather" as Spurs failed to secure all three points. This week, Tottenham travel down south to the Vitality Stadium as they face Solanke's old team. It is the first opportunity the England international will have to come up against his former employer.
Ahead of the game, Postecoglou provided an update on the 27-year-old's well-being when providing the latest team news. "Everyone from the weekend through OK," the Spurs boss said.
"Archie [Gray] got a knock, but he's recovered well. Dom is due to train today. He's still not 100%, but he's much better. The other guys haven't trained yet [with the group]."
One player who won't be in the squad tomorrow night is Cristian Romero. The defender has missed the last two games after suffering a knee injury last month.
"[Romero is] due to have his last couple of sessions with the rehab guys today or tomorrow," the Australian said. "We're hoping that he's back in training by Friday and at the latest early next week."
Centre-back Micky van de Ven is also out with a hamstring injury and has been missing for the last four weeks. Wilson Odobert is recovering from his surgery.
