Leeds United transfer rumours latest, including updates on Davie Selke, Yves Bissouma, and interest emerging in Brighton target Igor Paixao.
The transfer window officially opened in recent days and things are heating up at Leeds United regarding transfer news and rumours with every passing day of the window.
A busy summer is expected at Leeds as Daniel Farke is aiming to improve several areas of the side that finished on 100 points, with the Leeds squad far from ready ahead of the club’s return to the Premier League.
In the meantime, with a huge few months ahead for Farke and the Leeds hierarchy, here we have taken a look at some of the latest transfer news and the biggest headlines coming out of the club.
Leeds eye free agent Davie Selke from Hamburg
Leeds could sign as many as two strikers this summer and a new name has emerged on that front. Leeds are said to be eyeing a move for Davie Selke of Hamburger SV.
The giant 6’5″ striker has just scored 23 goals in 33 games for Hamburg in the 2. Bundesliga after signing a one-year contract last summer, meaning he is out of contract at the end of this month.
Unfortunately for Leeds, they aren’t alone in attempting to convince Selke to sign for them, with Premier League duo West Ham United and Fulham also said to be keen alongside RB Leipzig.
He hasn’t reached his potential as many had hoped, with Joachim Low’s comments on Selke in 2019 outlining how Selke’s profile was of a “great type of player” due to his “incredible commitment and speed.”

Leeds are ones to watch with Spurs’ Yves Bissouma
Ben Jacobs of GIVEMESPORT believes Leeds want Tottenham midfielder Yves Bissouma in the summer transfer window.
The report from Jacobs states: “He wants to stay in the Premier League. I’m told Leeds are another one to watch. They’re looking to add another midfielder. It will all come down to finances and wages for them, too.”
Prior to the midfielder joining the Premier League and completing a £25 million switch to Spurs from Brighton, Bissouma and Marcelo Bielsa didn’t get on during their time together at Lille.
However, he is the exact sort of Premier League experience and quality that Leeds will be eyeing having more of in the top flight.
Paixao could be an alternative to Manor Solomon for Leeds
Leeds have Dan James, Willy Gnonto, and Largie Ramazani as their wingers currently heading into 2025/26 and the Premier League.
They will add to that this summer, with Manor Solomon an option for Leeds on a return from Spurs. However, there are no guarantees of Solomon returning and they may eye other options on the wing.
Alternatives are being sounded out, with Leeds reportedly keen on Feyenoord winger Paixao alongside Brighton, Marseille, and Napoli.
The 24-year-old Brazilian is still contracted until 2029 and Feyenoord therefore do not feel the need to sell him. The Dutch giants reportedly want at least €40 million (£33.8 million) for him.
