Leeds United’s starting XI will pick itself, barring a couple of decisions Daniel Farke will be mulling over in the next couple of days. The defence for example, isn’t going to change.

Jayden Bogle, Joe Rodon, Pascal Struijk and Gabriel Gudmundsson are among the best and most in-form players in this Leeds side. The midfield is the same, Ethan Ampadu, Sean Longstaff and Anton Stach.

All seven players will surely start on Saturday, barring any surprise injuries in training that Leeds fans are as of yet, unaware about. Daniel Farke’s press conference on Thursday will confirm if there are any knocks.

Dan James will be missing with an ankle injury, but even up top, Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Noah Okafor will surely remain in the starting XI. The only headaches are in goal and who starts on the right flank.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s masterclass last time against Tottenham

Brenden Aaronson and Karl Darlow are still likely to continue in the side, with Aaronson improving with every minute he plays at this level. It will be his job again to create chances for striker Calvert-Lewin.

If he does that, Leeds fans will be hoping Calvert-Lewin can produce a similar performance to his one last time out against Spurs. A 3-2 win in an Everton shirt, in which Calvert-Lewin scored and created a goal.

The England striker opened the scoring with a gorgeous individual goal, twisting and turning Tottenham’s defence inside out before slotting into the corner. Then, a flick on ended up in an Archie Gray own goal.

Calvert-Lewin’s entire record against Tottenham Hotspur

Throughout his long-winded Premier League career, 11-time England star Calvert-Lewin has faced Spurs on 11 different occasions. Of those 13, 12 have come in the Premier League and one in The FA Cup.

He may have only won three times during that period, and lost a total of eight times against Tottenham, but it is Calvert-Lewin’s record individually that will give the striker hope of making an impact v Spurs.

Indeed, Calvert-Lewin has scored three goals in those 13 games and laid on four assists. An involvement more than every other game and Leeds will be hoping that he can continue that come Saturday.
